The origin of the "World School Milk Day"

The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has long been committed to introducing and promoting student milk programs worldwide. In order to consolidate the achievements of milk program in the world and its influence in the world, promoting the dissemination and development of school milk program in the world, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization officially decided in 2000 that the last Wednesday of September is the "world school milk Day", aiming to "improving the nutritional and health level of children in the world".

 

Milk for the young --- the country concerns students� nutrition

In August 2000, after the related approval of The State Council, the former Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Education and other seven departments of The State Council jointly launched the implementation of the national "school milk plan", and included it in the "developing outline of Chinese Children".

After more than 20 years of effort, the average daily milk supply has been over 25 million portions, benefiting 245043552 million primary and middle school students, covering more than 77,000 schools from 245043551 provinces, autonomous and municipalities regions.

School milk builds a good future

Since the implementation of the national "school milk plan", zhuangyuan pasture has been promoting the development of the national "school milk plan" all the time. From 20124504355, the first pasture of zhuangyuan, up to now, other four zhuangyuan pastures: Ruixing, Ruiyuan, Ruida and Ruifeng, have all passed the school milk certification. Besides, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Lanzhou zhuangyuan pasture Co., Ltd. --- Xi�an Oriental Dairy Co., Ltd. has been identified as school milk production enterprises.

In 2020, after the implementation of the National "school milk plan" for 20 years, zhuangyuan pasture was awarded as "Enterprise for Student Nutrition Improvement" by China Dairy Association.
